New Hat!

S has been sporting a purple hat lately.  He's cute in it, but it still fits C, so really she should be wearing it.  When found this tutorial, I knew it was time to make a new one. By the way, that blog is GREAT!  Love seeing the boy stuff.

Although the tutorial recommends using upcycled knits, I decided to use up some fleece scraps to make the hat warmer.  I love her boy embellishments, too, but we needed a hat ASAP.  No time for fun add-ons.

Here he is hanging from the backyard bush.  I made the pants last year using Katrina's Longies Pattern.  Those were the first pants I ever sewed and truly the reason I bought a sewing machine in the first place. They are still holding up quite well and fit great over his fluffy cloth diaper.
